Trip to NY
I
n 1989 or 1990 Prince George's Community College that we were both attending, offered a day trip to NY City for only $35/person. We took that trip leaving early in the morning. We rode Eric's motorcycle to the college. Instead of spending the day sightseeing in the Big Apple, Eric decided that we should spend that day with his maternal grandmother whom he called Nanny. She lived in Brooklyn. She was very happy to see him and ordered pizza from a neighborhood pizzeria for us for lunch. Then, we headed back around 4:00 p.m. to be able to catch the bus back to PG College from NY City.
