of your loved ones. We provide QR codes that link directly to a beautifully crafted online
story, making it easy for family, friends, and future generations to read.
- How do the QR codes work?
- Each QR code is unique and links to a personalized webpage where your stories are stored. Simply scan the QR code with a smartphone, and the story will
instantly appear. These QR codes can be placed on picture frames, wedding guests lists, gravestones, memorial benches, or anywhere you’d like.
- Can I update the story after the QR code is created?
- Yes! You can easily update or add to the story at any time. The
QR code will always link to the most recent version of the story.
- How do I create a story?
- Our platform will guide you through a series of thoughtful questions
about your loved one. Once you’ve answered, our system will craft a
narrative for you to review and edit.
- Can I decide who can see the story?
- Yes. You can decide to make the story you write open to anybody who scans
the QR code, or only to those you've added to your trusted readers. You
can also password protect your story.
- What happens if the QR code stops working?
- Our QR codes are permanently etched on aluminum using UV lasers
and therefore highly resistant to weather and other forces.
We test each one for durability and functionality.
However, if anything happens, contact us right away and we'll
help you resolve it.
- Can multiple people contribute to the story?
- Yes! In fact, this is one of the main features of anecdot. Everyone who
knew you or your loved loved one can easily add their memories and anecdotes, which
you can approve before integrating into the story.
